Mark Stoops ties Bear Bryant for most wins as Kentucky head coach

Mark Stoops has seen plenty of success as the Kentucky football head coach and built upon that with a 37-13 win over Miami (Ohio) to open the season on Saturday in Lexington.
With the victory, Stoops moves to 60 career wins, tying the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant.

While Stoops has already accomplished plenty, it’s easy to get the sense that the best is still yet to come with how much of a program on the rise Kentucky has identified as lately. This is a team with a true chance to do something special in 2022 with the potential tom win every game on the schedule.
Kentucky will look to build upon its hot start as it opens up SEC play against the Florida Gators — who also come off of a strong victory — on Saturday in Gainesville.,
