Marshawn Lynch, a former Cal standout running back and a Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks, was the celebrity guest picker on Saturday during College GameDay’s first-ever trip to Berkeley.
Lynch is a popular guy not just at Cal, but around the country. His appearance on GameDay was one for the ages, too.
Fans had plenty to say about Lynch’s performance. Naturally, he picked Cal to upset No. 8 Miami in an ACC showdown on Saturday night.

He also put Kirk Herbstreit in a headlock for choosing Cal rival Stanford to beat Virginia Tech.
Lynch is pure entertainment. Even if he doesn’t get a single pick right, this was an all-time guest appearance.
