Texas may be a big winner if the Longhorns manage to make the jump to the SEC, but for today, they remain a loser as the Big 12 football program was just masterfully trolled by Maryland.
If you have forgotten, Texas entered the 2017 season with a ton of hype (what else is new?) following the hiring of Tom Herman — the most recent “can’t miss” hire made in Austin before Steve Sarkisian.
What happened in that 2017 opener?
Maryland beat Texas 51-41 and exposed the Longhorns for the frauds they were in 2017.
Now with rumors running rampant that Texas is jumping to the SEC, Maryland reminding everyone how badly they made the Longhorns look on the field:
