It wasn’t a prediction. However, one national analyst thinks the top team in the nation could be beaten today.
“Just the amount of parity we have in college football, I wouldn’t even say Georgia is unbeatable,” Fox analyst and former Southern California quarterback Matt Leinart said. “Maybe it’s today against Kentucky.”
Georgia, thanks mostly to its stout defense and Alabama being upset last week, is the No. 1 team in the nation. The Dawgs host the Wildcats at 3:30 today. Kentucky is ranked No. 11.
Georgia and Kentucky are both undefeated. The winner of today’s game will take sole possession of the lead in the SEC Eastern Division and could represent the East in Atlanta.
