Max Duggan, the TCU quarterback and a Heisman Trophy finalist this season, has announced his plans for the 2023 season.

After Duggan thanked his family, teammates, coaches and Horned Frog Nation, he declared for the NFL Draft.

Duggan finished second in Heisman voting and drew plenty of attention throughout the season as the Horned Frogs proved to be one of the top teams in the country. They will play Michigan in a College Football Playoff semifinal.

In the statement, Duggan said the Horned Frogs “still have business to take care of” ahead of the Fiesta Bowl with a trip to the national championship on the line on New Year’s Eve.

The Frog QB ranks ninth in the FBS with a 165.48 passing efficiency rating and has led the Horned Frogs to a 12-1 record. He also won the Davey O’Brien Award winner after a season in which he completed 65% of his passes for 30 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 3,321 passing yards.
