It is pretty clear that Tennessee freshman quarterback Will McBride — and his family — want former LSU head coach Les Miles to coach the Volunteers.
McBride, who played in the back half of the Vols’ season after starting quarterback Jarrett Guarantano went down, apparently sees Miles as the best coach for Tennessee moving forward.
McBride has been heavily advocating on his Twitter account in recent days for UT’s administration — which has totally botched the coaching search process to this point — to bring Miles to Knoxville.
He tweeted out this GIF on Wednesday indicating his support:

Now, McBride’s mother is expressing her support.
She tweeted a simple message on Thursday evening:
Les Miles.

Miles coached the Tigers from 2005 through 2016. He compiled a head coaching record of 114-34 during his time in Baton Rouge. He was 62-28 against the SEC, and had two national championship appearances.
The Tigers won it all under his tenure in 2007.
