McElwain not eager to show his hand at QB, claims Florida will try multiple offensive looks against Michigan

Florida has had a lengthy QB battle this off-season. It appears the battle is still ongoing, and no final decision will be made this week.
During his Monday press conference leading up to the season opener against Michigan, Jim McElwain would not comment on the exact QB situation heading into the opening game of the season. McElwain did say that Michigan will have to prepare for multiple looks for the different QB’s that the Gators will deploy this week.
Robbie Andreu of The Gainesville Sun tweeted McElwain’s decision to not name a starter:
Mac announces he's not going to announce the plan for the quarterbacks this week.

Edgar Thompson with The Orlando Sentinel tweeted about the multiple looks the Gators are preparing:
Mac said Michigan will have to prepare for run-option (Zaire) and pocket passer (Franks, LDR). Key will be up front, though.

The Gators certainly have multiple options at QB, but it remains to be seen which option has the most upside. McElwain will need to find out quickly and on the fly which option is best for the team to be successful.
