Improving to 5-3 overall and 2-0 with former Alabama standout Tua Tagovailoa as their starting quarterback, the Miami Dolphins defeated the Arizona Cardinals, 34-31, on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

After a modest 12-of-22, 93-yard, one-touchdown performance in his first National Football League start, a 28-17 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on November 1, Tagovailoa played a much larger role in this one, completing 20-of-28 passes for 248 yards and two scores, while adding another 35 yards on seven rushing attempts.

Beginning to emerge as a franchise signal-caller right before our eyes, many media members and outlets were singing Tagovailoa’s praises postgame.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and his Dolphin teammates will look to keep their success rolling when they return to Hard Rock Stadium to welcome in fellow rookie quarterback Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers (2-6) on November 15 at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
