Miami WR Sam Brown Jr. delivers wildly vocal 40-yard dash

Miami wide receiver Sam Brown Jr. is at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, taking part in the event alongside many other NFL Draft hopefuls. One of Brown’s events also drew plenty of attention, though not necessarily for the reason intended.

At the 40-yard dash, Brown took off and delivered a solid time, clocking in at an unofficial 4.4 seconds on his first attempt. That time is right in line with what most NFL teams look for in a receiver, but it was how Brown delivered his time that stood out.

Throughout his run, Brown was heard screaming? Or barking? Or… something vocal, and it was especially loud all the way to the finish line.

That’s not a joke, and here is how Brown’s 40-yard dash looked — or rather sounded — on the broadcast:

As previously mentioned, Brown’s time was not a bad one. It was actually a positive sign, but his harmonics are, for better or worse, what stood out to fans across social media.

The good news? NFL teams are probably not worried about what Brown sides like while he runs, just that he does run quickly and efficiently. Count that rep as a win for Brown.
