Michigan game may not be the only one Antonio Callaway misses due to suspension

Florida’s top pass-catcher, Antonio Callaway, is among seven players suspended for the Gators’ Week 1 bout with Michigan.
While his coach Jim McElwain wouldn’t get into much specifics regarding the suspension, he clearly expressed his disappointment in the questionable behavior of his star receiver during his Monday press conference.
But could Callaway miss even more time? Pat Dooley of The Gainesville Sun said today on The Paul Finebaum Show that he’s not sure if Callaway should play in the second or third game either. And right now, it’s all speculation.

A Callaway absence in Week 2 against Northern Colorado might not affect Florida’s chances to win all that much. However, if Callaway were out in Week 3 against Tennessee, that would be a much bigger deal.
Of course, with Callaway’s history considered, some believe he shouldn’t play at all this season.
Only time will tell.
