So far the Duke’s Mayo Bowl hasn’t been much of a contest between South Carolina and North Carolina. The Gamecocks jumped out to an 18-point lead in the first quarter and the Tar Heels have been trying to fight their way back into this game ever since.
The most interesting part of the game so far has been how ESPN college football commentator Mike Golic Jr. has basically tried to gross out the ESPN audience with his antics regarding eating the mayonnaise.
Social media is abuzz with Golic dipping an Oreo cookie into a jar of mayonnaise. When Golic tried his new creation, his response was “An interesting blend of flavors, thumbs up for me,” he said.
That wasn’t the reaction of most fans, however.

I'm pretty sure this violates the Bill of Rights as cruel and unusual punishment for every viewer watching this. https://t.co/ycULXz8mts

We’ll see if Golic Jr. continues to guzzle mayo during the second half.
