Mike Gundy eviscerated on social media as Oklahoma State trails South Alabama 23-0 at halftime

Mike Gundy was once a hot name on the coaching carousel, being linked to big-time jobs like Tennessee and others.
But lately, the past couple of years, he’s been closer to being on the hot seat than a hot name on the market. He might be hitting a new low on Saturday night in Stillwater.
Trailing 23-0 at halftime against South Alabama, goodwill for Gundy is running thin on social media. Here’s a sampling of some of the reaction to the Cowboys’ poor first-half showing:
Oklahoma State had an incredible opportunity with the Pickens donation. And they squandered it, trusting their program to Mike Gundy. Year after year after year. You reap what you sow.

We all knew Mike Gundy’s 3 man rotation at QB was going to come back to bite him in the ass but this is offensive pic.twitter.com/PoSWvAjz7t

There’s still time for Oklahoma State to turn things around, but this year is off to a very lackluster start. A home loss against South Alabama would only fan the flames surrounding Gundy’s hot seat.
Is he truly in danger of losing his job? His contract is a big one at Oklahoma State, but if the Cowboys can’t figure out their QB situation, things could get ugly in a hurry.
