Miles is ‘looking forward to seeing Fournette return’ against Mississippi State
After sitting out a week with a left ankle injury, star junior running back Leonard Fournette appears primed to return for LSU against Mississippi State this upcoming weekend.

Head coach Les Miles addressed the injury on Monday during his weekly press conference. There had been some questions as to whether he will have been ready for the SEC West showdown. However, Miles assuaged those concerns completely.
LM on practice for Leonard Fournette: I think he'll practice if not every day 3 or 4 of those days.

With LSU’s play at quarterback an inconsistent adventure, the Tigers have — and will continue to — rely on the ground game for production. Derrius Guice filled in very well last week in the starting role. He accrued 155 yards and one touchdown on only 19 carries against Jacksonville State.
The return of Fournette, coupled with Guice’s emergence, gives LSU a very dangerous one-two punch in its backfield.
