There were several moments in Saturday’s Florida-Georgia game that had half of the crowd applauding. But there was one moment that brought nearly everyone to their feet in applause.
Staff Sgt. David Veros and his family were honored during a time out in the first half of the game. The Veros family was told to look at the video board at Jacksonville’s EverBank Field, where they found out they were being given a new home.

The house was provided by Operation Finally Home, an organization that aims to provide military heroes with new homes.
Veros served six tours of duty in Iraq.
