Injuries and COVID have hit the Minnesota Vikings hard this season.
Although the Vikings’ chances of making the playoffs are getting slimmer after the Green Bay Packers clinched the NFC North, they still are fighting to get there and they need all the help they can get.
This weekend, star RB Dalvin Cook will likely be out, as he has entered the league’s COVID-19 protocols. That led the Vikings to sign former Kentucky RB AJ Rose:

The rookie out of Kentucky rushed for nearly 2,000 yards in his career as a Wildcat and was the MVP in last year’s Gator Bowl against NC State, going for 148 yards.
We’ll see if he earns a promotion to the active roster ahead of this weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
