Mississippi State picks up commitment from talented 2022 cornerback out of Memphis

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are off to a hot start in the 2022 recruiting cycle. On Tuesday evening, the Bulldogs landed commitment No. 9 for their upcoming class.
This latest commitment comes from a 3-star cornerback out of Freedom Prep Academy in Memphis.
As you can see below, Tyler Woodard is the latest player to commit to Mississippi State and Mike Leach’s 2022 recruiting class:
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Woodard is the No. 66 cornerback in the 2022 class and the No. 25 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
The Bulldogs now have 9 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 17 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
