Mississippi State QB Jack Abraham shares message as he recovers from June concussion

Jack Abraham transferred from Southern Miss to Mississippi State last December. However, he has yet to appear in a game for the Bulldogs, or even be active for one of their contests.
That’s because Abraham suffered a concussion and lacerated his face during a “freak accident” in a June practice in which he was ran into by a player during helmet-less drills, according to Stefan Krajisnik of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.
But Abraham is currently recovering, and he shared a message on Twitter on Tuesday:

According to Krajisnik, Abraham has been dealing with post-concussion syndrome and was told by doctors it would take 3-6 months to recover when he suffered the injury in June. Krajisnik also reported that Abraham believes he’ll get a seventh year of eligibility from the NCAA and that he plans to stay at Mississippi State.
Abraham was expected to compete with Will Rogers and Chance Lovertich for the Bulldogs’ starting QB job. In each of their first 6 games, Rogers has been under center.
During his 3 years at Southern Miss, Abraham played in 27 games. He passed for 7,067 yards, 41 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.
