Mississippi State releases Week 1 depth chart for Stephen F. Austin game

Mississippi State will be without Nick Fitzgerald for its season opener after it was announced the senior quarterback was suspended for a violation of team rules.
That leaves sophomore Keytaon Thompson as the No. 1 quarterback for the season opener, as noted on the Bulldogs’ depth chart for this week’s game.
Mississippi State released its full depth chart, showing starters and backups for every position, on Monday. The Bulldogs play Stephen F. Austin on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
