The Mississippi State Bulldogs filled out some of their upcoming non-conference schedules on Tuesday, when news broke of a three-game series against an in-state rival.

According to the Southern Miss Twitter account, the Bulldogs and the Golden Eagles will meet three times in the six-year span from 2019 to 2024.

The first two games — on Sept. 7, 2019 and Sept. 23, 2023 — will be held at Davis-Wade Stadium in Starkville and the third game — on Sept. 14, 2024 — will be held at The Rock in Hattiesburg:

The Bulldogs’ 2019 non-conference schedule is now filled, as coach Dan Mullen’s crew will play home games against Southern Miss, Kansas State and Abilene Christian and a neutral-site game against Louisiana-Lafayette.
