This has not been a great last few days for Missouri.
The school is under investigation by the NCAA over an alleged cheating scandal involving a former tutor. A linebacker publicly berated this weekend’s opponent — only to apologize the following day.
On Wednesday, it was also announced that defensive line coach Jackie Shipp had been fired:

According to a report from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Shipp’s dismissal has to do with an argument he had with a player before Saturday’s loss to Tennessee.
Shipp did not coaching during the game — nor did he travel back with the team to Columbia. This was Shipp’s first and only season with the program. He had initially come to Mizzou from Arizona State.
