Mizzou football recently revealed who the team captains will be for the 2023 season. The Tigers are hoping to improve on a 6-7 record from 2022 and will look to several veterans to lead that charge.
QB Brady Cook. RB Cody Schrader, OL Javon Foster, LB Chad Bailey, LB Ty’Ron Hopper, and DL Darius Robinson will have captain duties this season.

Cook, Foster, Bailey, and Robinson were also captains in 2022. Schrader and Hopper both transferred to Mizzou for the 2022 season and became important members of the squad.
Schrader finished the 2022 season with 745 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns. Schrader previously played for DII Truman State before transferring to Mizzou.
Hopper collected 74 tackles, 3 sacks, and an interception in his first season with the Tigers. Hopper previously played for the Florida Gators.
The Tigers will kick off their season on August 31 when the South Dakota Coyotes come to town.
