Missouri running back Damarea Crockett did not take the field on Wednesday night during Mizzou’s bowl game against Texas.
Crockett reportedly came out onto the field in street clothes shortly after warming up with his team ahead of the Texas Bowl at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
It is unclear at this time why Crockett wasn’t able to play.
Coming into the game, he was third on Mizzou’s rushing chart for the season. Crockett has had 80 carries for 481 yards and two touchdowns on the year.
The Longhorns were leading the Tigers 7-0 early in the first quarter at the time of this post.
Multiple reporters confirmed Crockett’s presence in “street clothes.”
Damarea Crockett is in street clothes. Looks like Missouri’s offense will finish the season with the same rotation its had for the last six games.
