Mizzou has a core group of Tigers looking to make their jump to the NFL after wrapping up their time in Columbia. During the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, multiple members of that group showed out for scouts and NFL personnel on hand.

Quarterback Brady Cook, one of the winningest players in Mizzou history, was particularly impressive. His physical tests were eye-popping at the combine, leading the QB group with a 37-inch vertical, a 10’7″ broad jump and a 4.59 40-yard dash. How that factors into Cook’s NFL prospects remains to be seen, but his physical attributes will be intriguing to teams.

Luther Burden III was another Mizzou player to show out on the field in Indianapolis. While Burden was not among the fastest receivers in the 40-yard dash, he still clocked in an appropriate 4.41-second time.

In spite of Cook and Burden, offensive lineman Armand Membou was arguably the most impressive Tiger at the combine. He led all offensive linemen with a 9’7″ broad jump and was among the leaders in nearly every workout he took part in for the position. Membou finished with a 94 athleticism score per the NFL’s Next Gen Stats, the top mark of all offensive tackles at the combine this year.

For their performances, all 3 Tigers earned a spot on the NFL’s All-Combine offensive team. That doesn’t mean every player is bound to be a high draft pick, but it speaks highly of the conditioning work under head coach Eli Drinkwitz, and it’s a nice opening statement for the pre-draft process.
