The Mississippi State Bulldogs won’t be spending their Thursday night watching in-state rival Ole Miss open its season against Boise State on ESPN.
Instead, the Bulldogs will be gathering their fans at the newly renovated Davis Wade Stadium for the annual Cowbell Yell pep rally.

Cowbell Yell aims to prepare fans for a rowdy season in the stands, and to hype them up for another year of Bulldogs football. It also gives them a chance to loosen up their bell-wagging arms.
Festivities are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m., which should fall during the second half of the Ole Miss game in Atlanta.
