Things turned ugly during Kansas State’s home game with TCU on Saturday.
Midway through the 3rd quarter with the Wildcats holding a 21-5 led, KSU quarterback Skylar Thompson was drilled as he headed out of bounds by Horned Frogs safety Josh Foster.
The play, which took place in front of the TCU bench, led to to led to a braw between the teams, with 3 players being ejected for throwing punches.
Da’Veawn Armstead and D’Arco Perkins-McAllister were tossed out of the game for the Horned Frogs, while Kansas State wide receiver Tyrone Howell was also ejected for his role in the brawl.
Kansas State went on to win the game, 31-12, to improve to 5-3 on the season, while TCU dropped to 3-5.
