After spending the last three years in College Station, former Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett would like to return home.
Garrett, a native of Arlington, Texas, where the Dallas Cowboys play their home games, would like to be drafted by the Cowboys. The only problem is that Dallas’ first pick comes at No. 28, long after Garrett, a projected single-digit pick, will be off the board.
The Aggie pass-rusher made a plea on ESPN for Dallas to send picks and QB Tony Romo to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the No. 1 pick.
“I’m speaking to you, Jerry,” Garrett says in the video below. “Mr. (Jason) Garrett, make it happen. Dak Prescott is leading our team right now. I need you to take Tony Romo, take a couple picks, and give them to Cleveland so you can pick me up, please.
“I’d love to play in Dallas, let’s make it happen.”

If Garrett is drafted by any team besides the Cowboys, he’ll probably have to stop saying “our team” in reference to Dallas.
