Nate Oats picked up his first technical foul of the 2024-25 on Wednesday night in Columbia.
Alabama is trailing Mizzou in the 1st half of the top-15 showdown. Oats took issue with a foul call on Mark Sears, slamming his clipboard onto the court at Mizzou Arena.
It is Oats’ first tech in almost a full a year, according to social media accounts that keep up with that stat.

After the technical, Caleb Grill made 2 free throws to extend No. 15 Mizzou’s lead to 45-28 on No. 4 Alabama. The Crimson Tide have not led in the game and trailed by as many as 20 points (51-31).
Mizzou has a lead of 59-46 at the half. It’s the most points for the Tigers in a half against an SEC team this season.
Alabama entered the game at 21-4 overall and 10-2 in conference play after Saturday’s home loss against No. 1 Auburn in the “Iron Bowl of Basketball.” The Crimson Tide have not suffered back-to-back losses all season.
The game is airing on the SEC Network.
