The betting line for Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia shifted slightly just before kickoff.
Alabama moved down slightly from a 4-point betting favorite to a 3.5-point favorite. The Crimson Tide originally opened as a 4.5-point favorite over the Bulldogs, according to Vegas Insider.
ESPN gambling writer David Payne Purdum pointed out the slight line change from several Vegas sportsbooks on Twitter.
While it doesn’t seem like much, in Vegas, a half-point can mean everything.
Late line movement: Alabama down to -3.5 at several Las Vegas sportsbooks within last 30 minutes.
