Week 11, otherwise known as Chaos Week, shook up the bowl projections across the board.
Alabama crushed Mississippi State 51-3, LSU took care of business against Arkansas to the tune of 38-10, and Florida defended The Swamp against South Carolina, 20-7.
Other than those three matchups, nothing was as expected.
The Bulldogs welcomed Auburn to Athens with a surprising 13-7 upset, taking the Tigers out of a possible College Football Playoff appearance. However, Auburn is still likely to get one of the better bids this postseason.
Over in College Station, the Aggies suffered another upset to a Mississippi team. This time, 29-28 to the Rebels. But the Aggies are still in a good spot for a quality bowl game, while the Rebels are still a win from eligibility.
Vanderbilt was coming off an almost-upset over Auburn in Week 10, but the momentum dropped off against Missouri. Columbia was not a safe space for the Commodores, who lost 26-17 to the Tigers, but neither team will see a bowl game this season.
And who can say what was really expected from the Kentucky-Tennessee matchup? The Wildcats tried to hang in there, but in the end, it was the Vols who came away with the 49-36 win, leaving Kentucky a win away from bowl eligibility.
