The nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback has announced when he will sign — presumably — with the Georgia Bulldogs.
Justin Fields, a Kennesaw, Ga. native in the class of 2018, has been committed to the ‘Dawgs since Oct. 6. He visited Athens again over the weekend and will be an early signee.
“I will be officially signing Wednesday, December 20th at 12:00pm at Harrison High School,” Fields posted on Twitter Sunday.
Fields is an elite quarterback. The 247Sports Composite has him rated not only as a 5-star prospect and the top dual-threat QB in the country, but as the No. 2 prospect overall nationwide.
The Under Armour All-American is listed at 6-foot-3 and 221 pounds. He’s got offers from, well, pretty much everyone. Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Penn State, USC — you name it.
Fields threw for 1,678 yards and 21 touchdowns against high school competition this season, while adding 955 rushing yards and an additional 15 TDs on the ground.
Here’s the tweet from Fields:
