NCAA Tournament 2022 schedule: 3 SEC teams play on Thursday, March 17

The 2022 NCAA Tournament is finally here!
Thursday isn’t just St. Patrick’s Day — it also marks the beginning of Round 1 of March Madness. And, on Day 1 of the tourney action, 3 SEC teams are on the schedule.
STATES: LA, KS, CO, IL, IN, MI, NJ, PA, VA, TN, AZ, IA, WV
Below, you can see the tipoff time and TV information for the 3 SEC squads that are in action on Thursday:
- No. 3 Tennessee vs. No. 14 Longwood — 2:45 p.m. ET on TBS
- No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 15 Saint Peter’s — 7:10 p.m. ET on CBS
- No. 4 Arkansas vs. No. 13 Vermont — 9:20 p.m. ET on TNT
All 3 SEC teams in action on Thursday will be favored to advance, but they’ll all have to bring their best efforts, as they don’t call this tournament “March Madness” for no reason.
We’ll see if they can all advance to Round 2, or if there is an upset or 2 brewing.
