Nebraska AD Bill Moos acknowledges Scott Frost as a candidate, criticizes SEC’s (figurative) cannibalistic behavior

Nebraska director of athletics Bill Moos had an interesting comment about the SEC on Saturday.
It involved the conference’s cannibalistic (figurative, of course) behavior.
“That SEC, they eat their young,” Moos reportedly said. “… I don’t care, I’ve said worse.”
Moos was likely referring to the fact that SEC coaches get chewed up and spit out relatively often. Nearly every school in the conference has seen a significant amount of turnover since Nick Saban took over at Alabama in 2007.
Speculation aside, it was an interesting comment by the Cornhuskers’ AD.
Moos could be going head-to-head with SEC athletic directors for potential coaching candidates — namely, Scott Frost.
Nebraska will soon be making a new hire, along with Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee.
It will be interesting to see where Frost ends up.

Shortly after firing Mike Riley on Saturday, Moos acknowledged that Frost would indeed be a candidate for the Nebraska job.
Nebraska AD Bill Moos on Frost: “Scott is someone I am considering, but I’m being very sensitive to the fact he’s still coaching a team and he’s having a heck of a run.”
