Things aren’t going so well for the Nebraska Cornhuskers right now, as they are trailing Northern Illinois 21-17 in the fourth quarter in Lincoln.

To make matters even more interesting, Les Miles is in the broadcast booth calling the game for FOX Sports 1.

Many Nebraska fans are aware of that, and would love nothing more than to have the former LSU coach come down from the booth and take over for current head coach Mike Riley.

Considering Miles’ son, Ben, plays for the Huskers, it could be an interesting fit, should Riley actually get fired.

Here are some of the tweets calling for Miles to stay in Lincoln after the FS1 broadcast is over:

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Lincoln moving forward, especially if Nebraska can’t come back to beat Northern Illinois.
