WR Jordan Westerkamp is the proverbial straw that stirs the drink for Nebraska’s offense.
He led the Cornhuskers in receiving yards (526), catches (38), and touchdown grabs (5). While not a complete burner, the sure-handed receiver is often involved in making a big play for head coach Mike Riley’s team.
Unfortunately for Nebraska, it will be without Westerkamp for the Music City Bowl versus Tennessee on Dec. 30:

Westerkamp injured his knee on a non-contact play in practice. The meniscus injury will leave the wide out sidelined for three months.
With starting signal-caller Tommy Armstrong also likely unavailable for the game, the Volunteers will be facing a very short-handed Cornhuskers offense.
