New 2017 NFL mock draft has 12 SEC players going in the first round

When the NFL draft arrives Thursday, April, 27, be prepared to witness plenty of former SEC players called up to the podium to have their pictures taken with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

According to the latest NFL mock draft from NFL media’s Daniel Jeremiah, 12 former SEC players should prepare to be selected in the upcoming draft. Of the players selected, four are from Alabama, three from LSU, two from Florida and one from Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Missouri.

Here’s how Jeremiah’s latest mock breaks down:

1. Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett – DE, Texas A&M

4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Leonard Fournette – RB, LSU

6. New York Jets: O.J. Howard – TE, Alabama

9. Cincinnati Bengals: Jonathan Allen – DE, Alabama

10. Buffalo Bills: Jamal Adams – S, LSU

14. Philadelphia Eagles: Reuben Foster – LB, Alabama

16. Baltimore Ravens: Derek Barnett – DE, Tennessee

18. Tennessee Titans: Tre’Davious White – CB, LSU

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cam Robinson – OT, Alabama

24. Oakland Raiders: Jarrad Davis – LB, Florida

29. Green Bay Packers: Quincy Wilson – CB, Florida

31. Atlanta Falcons: Charles Harris – DE, Missouri
