Auburn fans hoping to roll the new Auburn Oaks at Toomer’s Corner will have to wait this season.

Jasmine Agyemang with WTVM news reports that the two new oak trees are not yet fully established and could be harmed by the tradition of rolling the trees with toilet paper after a Tigers victory.

Auburn University officials are asking fans not to roll the new Auburn Oaks at Toomer’s corner this football season because the trees aren’t fully established.

Fortunately for Auburn fans, the school has designated trees to be used for this season while the oaks at Toomer’s Corner grow and become established.

The trees had to be replaced due to a fire following Auburn’s victory over LSU last season. Thankfully the tradition will still be allowed to continue. Fans will just have to wait a little while longer before utilizing Toomer’s new trees.`
