Former Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is having a strong start to his NFL career. In his first season with the Denver Broncos, he has recorded 30 catches for 484 yards and 2 touchdowns, aided by a big day against the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 8 as he made 7 catches for 125 yards and 1 touchdown.
It’s earned him the attention of many around the league, and has earned him some added attention from the rating adjusters from EA Sports’ “Madden” series. Jeudy previously held a 77 overall rating, but that has now been increased to a 78, putting him one behind the Vikings’ Justin Jefferson for the highest rating among rookie wide receivers.
Who better to break the news to him than one of the top wide receivers in NFL history? Jeudy received a call from legend Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, an avid “Madden” player in his post-NFL years.
“I know John (Madden) now,” Johnson told Jeudy. “All you got to do is handle your business in between the white lines and I got the rest.”
