NFL Network takes shot at Vols: ‘How do you say trolling in German?’

Tennessee snapped an impressive streak of 51 consecutive seasons with at least one Vols player drafted back in 2015.
The Vols were hoping to start a new streak in 2016, but they were still without a player chosen through the first half of the sixth round, leaving just Tennessee and Vanderbilt as the only two SEC teams without a player chosen in this year’s NFL Draft.

The folks on the set at NFL Network wanted to make sure we all knew about the Vols’ struggle to get a man on the draft board this season.
But it was all in good fun.
The crew was interviewing Moritz Boehringer, who became the first German football player selected in the NFL Draft when the Minnesota Vikings took him with the No. 180 overall selection.
At the end of that interview, NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah decided to get a jab in at former Tennessee player Charles Davis, who also has served as an analyst on the draft set on Saturday.
NFL Network host Rich Eisen, who is a well-known Michigan alumnus and fan, really got a kick out the joke.
