Another week, another list of revisions and updates. I checked in with our resident NFL scout, who detailed which SEC players’ stock rose or fell the most after Week 7:

STOCK RISING

Vernon Hargreaves lll, CB, Florida

Last week: 3 tackles.

2015 season: 22 tackles, 3 interceptions.

Size: 5-11, 200 pounds.

NFL draft projection: 1st round.

Scout’s take: “Hargreaves is no question the top corner in this year’s draft. He seems to always be around the ball and is the best cover corner. He’s also aggressive in the tackling department. His size is an issue, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in everything else that you look for in a defender.”

Vadal Alexander, OT, LSU

Last week: Helped LSU run for 221 yards.

2015 season: Helped LSU run for 1,953 yards.

Size: 6-6, 320 pounds.

NFL draft projection: 2-3 rounds.

Scout’s take: “Alexander is an athletic guy (no shocker there). He will probably be a right tackle at the next level. He has struggled a little in pass protection this season, looking a little late and slow at some points, but is a physical guy. He also has versatility because he’s played guard and tackle at LSU and has succeeded at both. If he can remain healthy and has a great week at the senior bowl, he could improve his draft stock even more.”

O.J Howard, TE, Alabama

Last week: 3 receptions, 35 yards.

2015 season: 19 catches, 235 yards, 0 TDs.

Size: 6-6, 240 pounds.

NFL draft projection: 2-3 rounds.

Scout’s take: “Howard is the best athlete at tight end in this year’s class, hands down. He doesn’t run the best routes nor is he the most aggressive blocker, but his size, speed, and athleticism sets him up for major mismatches. He has been under utilized over the last 2 seasons at Alabama as other players (running backs, Amari Cooper and now Calvin Ridley) have stolen the show.”

Demarcus Robinson, WR, Florida

Last week: 2 receptions, 41 yards.

2015 season: 36 receptions, 371 yards, 2 TDs.

Size: 6-1, 205 pounds.

NFL draft projection: 1-3 rounds

Scout’s take: “Robinson has been the primary focus for Florida this year on the receiving end. He’s a sure-handed guy who runs as good a route as any receiver in the nation. His production hasn’t been all that great due to lack of quarterback play, but Robinson has shown that he can make plays when his number is called.”

STOCK FALLING

Duke Williams, WR, Auburn

Last week: Did Not Play (suspended for season).

2015 season: 12 catches, 147 yards, 1 TD.

Size: 6-2, 225 pounds.

NFL draft projection: ?

Scout’s take: “This was a guy who was thought of as being one of the top receivers taken in the draft. He’s a very athletic guy that will go up and fight for each pass thrown his way. Obviously, the off the field issues took a toll and he is no longer with the Tigers. He’ll probably still get a look and a few workouts as an undrafted free agent, but I’d be shocked if a team drafted him.”
