NFL suspends former Alabama defender Rolando McClain for huge chunk of 2016 season

The NFL has come down hard on Dallas Cowboy linebacker Rolando McClain, handing out the former Alabama defender a huge 10 game player for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

McClain started 11 games for the Cowboys in 2015 and made 80 tackles and registered a pick six on his only interception of the season.
The former Alabama defender was the eighth overall selection of the 2010 NFL Draft. McClain was also suspended by the NFL to begin the 2015 regular season. His infraction was the same, as he broke the NFL’s substance abuse policy and was suspended for four games.
