Nic Scourton transferred into Texas A&M after an impressive 2023 season at Purdue, and he instantly delivered a massive impact for the Aggies. He was a leader on the defensive line all season long, and now he’s heading to the 2025 NFL Draft.

Scourton confirmed the news with a graphic shared on social media on Monday:

“I would like to thank Texas A&M and Purdue, the coaching staff and my teammates for a great college experience,” wrote Scourton “… It has been an honor, and I will be forever grateful.

“To my family and mentors, I truly appreciate the love, support and guidance you have provided me on my journey. I know that I would not be in this position without y’all. I’m excited to experience this next chapter together.”

During the 2024 season, Scourton led A&M with 15 TFL and 5 sacks. He came to the Aggies after career-high marks of 15 TFL and 10 sacks for Purdue during the 2023 season, and Scourton wraps up his college career with 31 TFL and 17 sacks.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, Scourton will get a chance to build his stock during the pre-draft process and will be one of the more productive defenders available this spring.

Scourton is not the only loss for A&M along the defensive front. Fellow defensive lineman Shemar Stewart also announced on Monday that he his heading to the draft after 3 seasons with the Aggies.
