Nick Fitzgerald calls out Danny Kanell for saying UCF would beat Mississippi State

On Wednesday morning, former Florida State QB Danny Kanell made a controversial statement (no surprise there) on Twitter.
He took issue with the fact that a three-loss Mississippi State was ranked No. 14 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, while undefeated UCF is ranked No. 15.
As you can see below, he outlined his case in a lengthy tweet, ending by saying UCF would beat Mississippi State if they played:
UCF's schedule has been just as tough as Miss State's.
UCF has more talent on their roster than Miss State.
UCF is undefeated. Miss St has 3 losses.
UCF would beat Miss State if they played.
So, who does the committee have ranked higher??? smh. #SEC— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) November 22, 2017
It’s safe to say that statement angered many Mississippi State fans, and even some players saw the tweet.
As you can see, star QB Nick Fitzgerald saw the tweet and decided to call Kanell out for what he felt was a terrible opinion about the Bulldogs:
Good sir… You are entitled to your opinion, but your opinion is wrong and we are all having a good laugh about it ? https://t.co/4BTvsJp0gv

Unfortunately, we won’t get to see who would win between UCF and Mississippi State unless the two teams get matched up in a bowl game.
However, since they’re both highly ranked at the moment, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them matched up this postseason.
