Video: Mississippi State QB rides ‘really fast’ around Charlotte Motor Speedway

When you think of Charlotte Motor Speedway, you’re probably not thinking Toyota Camry.
But Mississippi State QB Nick Fitzgerald got a different perspective on that coupling Sunday. Joined in the back seat by a Clarion-Ledger reporter, Fitzgerald sat in the passenger seat as a professional driver gunned it around the track.
The Bulldogs are in Charlotte to play North Carolina State in the Belk Bowl.
Fitzgerald, who could take over for Dak Prescott next year, played it cool for the most part, though he sounded pretty nervous as the driver drifted close to the retaining wall:
