Before Tuesday, Nick Saban was probably looking forward to a low-key chat with Paul Finebaum at the Regions Pro-Am in Hoover, Alabama Wednesday. Then the Cam Robinson-Hootie Jones incident happened.
The Alabama coach did not have any Earth-shattering news on “The Paul Finebaum Show,” but he may have tipped his hand about how he wants to handle discipline for Robinson and Jones once the legal issues are sorted out.

Nick Saban: "Is a guy better off with us in our structure … or are we better off throwing him out with the bath water?" @finebaum

The above quotes indicate Saban won’t rush to judgement or give either player the boot to simply make a statement. The coach also had some sage advice for athletes everywhere:
Nick Saban with some sound advice on @finebaum: Don't mess with guns unless you're going hunting, and don't mess with women you don't know.

Saban previously commented on the matter in a brief statement Tuesday.
