Saban’s meticulous in his craft and has always preached ‘process’ in Tuscaloosa. Particularly coming off a bye week, Alabama’s nearly untouchable. Saban’s 5-1 with extra time to prepare prior to regular-season matchups since the start of the 2012 season.
On the other hand, SEC teams with a bye week prior to facing the Tide are 5-20 since 2008.
Coming into the 2015 season, Saban had the SEC’s highest-winning percentage against ranked teams during his time as a head coach at Alabama, LSU, Michigan State and Toledo at an impressive 64 percent.
Alabama has beaten five ranked teams this season in six tries.
