Nick Saban responds to Josh Battle’s comments about the coach’s ‘deez’ jokes in practice

This week, Alabama DB Josh Battle hilariously shared that Nick Saban frequently makes “deez” jokes in practice.
“He’s always talking about ‘touch deez’ or ‘suck on deez,’ you know, all that,” Battle told members of the media.
Battle’s press conference clip led many to revisit prior discussions of Saban’s appreciation for “deez nuts” jokes. Saban was asked “deez” jokes Thursday during his weekly radio show.
Publicly, the Alabama coach would prefer everyone get their mind out of the gutter.
Saban on Jordan Battle’s “suck on deez” comment: “It’s up to anybody’s imagination what ‘this is,’ what ‘these are.’ So it’s whatever you think it is. Now, if you think it’s something bad, then it’s something bad, aight, but it doesn’t have to be anything bad.”

Considering what we’ve heard from Battle, Josh Jacobs, Lane Kiffin and Marlon Humphrey, it seems pretty clear what Saban is referring to when he uses “deez” in a joke.
