The Alabama Crimson Tide are coming off a blowout loss against the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff title game on Monday night, and now some are saying the Alabama dynasty is over.

Does that mean coach Nick Saban could look to return to the NFL? He has been connected to various jobs over the years, but has never left.

On Tuesday, Saban appeared on the list of BetDSI’s coaches with the best odds of being the Cleveland Browns’ head coach next season, checking in with +800 odds:

  • Freddie Kitchens — +200
  • Matt Eberflus — +300
  • Gregg Williams — +400
  • Nick Saban — +800
  • Brian Flores — +1,000

Alabama is bringing in the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class for 2019, so the dynasty is likely far from over. However, Clemson is looming as a legitimate threat again next fall.

Saban has a tough decision to make, and we’ll see what he does this offseason.
