Nick Saban knows how difficult it is to play at LSU’s Tiger Stadium and he’s started preparing for what looks to be another big game in the SEC West.
“It’s a rivalry game that’s always an important matchup,” Saban said during Monday’s press conference. “Brian Kelly has done an outstanding job bringing this team along.”
Saban talked about how the Tigers have a great roster and started with LSU’s talented quarterback Jayden Daniels.
“Jayden Daniels is one of the most productive quarterbacks in the country with his ability to run the ball,” Saban said while breaking down Daniels’ performance this season. “very effective and efficient passer.”
Saban also mentioned LSU’s running backs and talented receiving corps. He mentioned that several of LSU’s wide receivers have 20 or more receptions so far.
Saban mentioned that consistency is something his team is going to focus on this week while getting ready for another difficult road environment. Alabama will play at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN in a game that has huge implications in the SEC West standings.
“We can’t beat ourselves,” Saban said. “We’ve gotta have enough poise to be able to execute in this environment.”
