Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided a few injury updates on Wednesday afternoon.

There were several reports on Tuesday about linebacker Dylan Moses suffering a foot injury, and Saban was able to confirm those reports a day later.

“I’m sure everybody heard about Dylan Moses’ foot injury, which required a pin in his foot, very similar to what Mack (Wilson) and LaBryan Ray had, same kind of injury,” Saban said after practice, according to a BamaOnLine247 report. “So, he’ll be out indefinitely. Those guys all were out for 3-4 weeks before they could do much.

However, Crimson Tide fans can take solace in some good news, as well. Safety Deionte Thompson is apparently doing ok.

“Deionte Thompson had a lower leg bruise, but he actually practiced today, so it’s not really a problem,” Saban said.

Moses suffered a broken foot during practice on Monday, the report confirmed. Thompson sustained his apparently minor injury on Tuesday.

No. 4 Alabama will face No. 1 Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 in New Orleans. The winner will move on to the national championship game.
