On Saturday, No. 1 Alabama did what it needed to do: Win.
It defeated Chattanooga by a score of 31-3. The Crimson Tide didn’t look too convincing in this contest — as echoed by head coach Nick Saban at halftime.
In the first half, Alabama out-gained Chattanooga by only 18 yards. There were an absence when it came to energy and enthusiasm in the first half.
However, the Crimson Tide turned on the jets and sped away for the comfortable victory.
Saban spoke to the media after the game:
Coach Nick Saban: “Look, I’m proud of our team. Our team won 11 games so far. I’m responsible for how we played today."
